Mix on low for 1 minute until the ingredients start to combine. Scrape down sides and continue mixing on top speed for 2 minutes until smooth. Scrape down the sides again. Reduce speed to medium and gradually add the vegetable oil. Continue mixing for a total of 2 minutes (Do not overmix). Pour into lined baking tin.BakeBake at 150°C8x3” Round tin – bake for approx. 130 minutes (1kg mix)10x3” Round tin – bake for approx. 150 minutes (2kg mix)Note: When filling your cake tin, be sure to leave approx. 2-3cm of space from the top. This allows room for the cake to rise evenly. Baking times may vary depending on your oven.
