"Kyoko Koizumi’s 'danceable kayōkyoku' that ignited the late ’80s club scene returns at last. A long-awaited vinyl release featuring previously unreleased mixes. Originally produced by Haruo Chikada in 1989 under the tagline 'Bringing house music into the living room,' Fade Out is a seminal work from the dawn of Japan’s club culture, gaining strong support around the legendary Shibaura GOLD scene. Today, Fade Out stands as a core title within the revival of 'Japanese techno kayō,' a movement currently being rediscovered by European diggers and DJs. This highly anticipated 12-inch vinyl release includes the 2026 remastered original version, along with rare and previously unreleased remixes by an exceptional lineup of artists including Haruo Chikada, Soichi Terada, and Hiroshi Fujiwara." - UMAA Inc.
