Quilt Blocks 108" Batiks Collection - Ginger｜ Other Products

Rich shades of deep plum and soft violet come together in Violet, creating a dramatic geometric design with plenty of tonal depth. Alternating triangles form abstract pinwheels, diamonds, and angular quilt-block shapes that shift across the fabric for a lively sense of movement. Natural mottling and subtle variations within the purple tones soften the crisp geometry and give the design an artistic, handcrafted quality. The monochromatic palette makes it easy to pair with lavender, eggplant, berry, gray, or other jewel-toned fabrics. Used across a quilt backing or another large project, the oversized pattern provides visual interest without overwhelming the finished design.

For best results, machine wash cold on a delicate cycle with mild detergent, tumble dry low and remove promptly; do not bleach. Pre-washing is recommended. *Fabrics are not recommended for children's sleepwear.

The collection ranges from refreshing greens and tranquil blues to vivid pinks, purples, and energetic multicolor combinations, offering options for both subtle and statement-making projects. Made of 100% cotton and measuring 108" wide, these fabrics are especially suited for seamless quilt backings while also offering plenty of possibilities for home décor and other large-scale sewing projects.

Handmade by skilled artisans in Indonesia, each batik reflects a fabric-making tradition that has been passed down through generations. The process involves carefully dyeing the cloth and applying wax-resist designs to create the distinctive patterns, tonal variations, and organic textures that make batiks so recognizable. Banyan Batiks Studio works with Indonesian artisans to celebrate these long-standing techniques while exploring new designs and beautiful color combinations. Because of the handcrafted process, slight differences in color and print consistency may occur from one bolt to another, giving each piece its own unique character.
