Filipiniana top in beige metallic gazar
Cristina is a Filipiniana top cut from metallic gazar, a crisp fabric with a faint sheen running through it. Gazar holds a shape on its own, so the short butterfly sleeves stay sculpted without padding. Lace and a scatter of sequins sit on the sleeves. The rest of the top is left plain, so it does not fight with whatever you wear underneath.
This is a separate, not a full dress. Wear it over a plain skirt for a wedding or a baptism, or with tailored trousers for an office event or a Buwan ng Wika program at school. Beige goes with most things, which is why it gets worn more than a coloured piece. Prefer an open front? See our Filipiniana boleros, or the wider women's Filipiniana range for a matching skirt.
Each top is sewn to order. Measure your bust, waist and upper arm in inches. Compare them to the size chart. A fitted bodice leaves little room to guess, so ask about custom fitting if two sizes look close.
Keep the sequinned sleeves away from a hot iron. Steam on low, and store the top flat or on a padded hanger so the sleeves hold their shape.
Pair it with a men's barong tagalog for your partner.
