Empirical Spirits The Plum, I Suppose is a 750ml, 64-proof spirit from Copenhagen's Empirical, the experimental distillery led by noma alumni Lars Williams and Mark Emil Hermansen. It is built on a base of koji-fermented barley and Belgian saison yeast, then infused with plum kernels and marigold and finished in oloroso sherry casks. The aroma is all stone fruit and marzipan, with plum, apricot and a floral lift on the palate, and the sherry cask adds gentle nutty depth without heaviness. Serve it chilled and neat, over ice, or in a spritz or highball where the plum and almond notes can lead.Buy Empirical Spirits The Plum, I Suppose online with fast shipping right to your door.
