Almost Gone｜ Other Products ｜Alexandrion Vinars Brancoveaun VSOP Brandy

Brancoveanu VSOP comes from Alexandrion Saber Distilleries 1789 in Romania, built from wine distillate aged in oak casks and rounded out with the brand's signature blend of natural extracts. It's picked up real recognition from two respected competitions: a Silver Medal and 86-point score at the 2021 London Spirits Competition, and a strong assessment from the IWSC, which called it "a serious Brandy; well-toned with great balance," praising tropical fruit and roasted nuts carried by a luxurious, syrupy texture. Difford's Guide described a genuinely "split personality" — sweet caramel, vanilla, and almond on one side, balanced against assertive, dry oak tannin spice on the other. Other tasters found toasted oats, vanilla, and orchard fruit on the nose, with brown sugar and cream coming through mid-palate, and a slightly peppery edge that settles into an overall sweet, subtle character. Expect a clear, medium-intensity pour with stone fruit, nuts, and warm spice throughout, finishing with real complexity and depth. One customer reviewer even compared it favorably to French Cognac. A step up from the entry-level Alexandrion 5 Star, built for genuine sipping as well as classic brandy cocktails.
